Steps to Foreign Corporation Qualification in Idaho:
- Determine the Name Your Corporation Will Use
You must select a name for your corporation to use in Idaho. You may use your corporation’s actual name, but only if it is not already in use within the state. You can do a business name search on the Secretary of State website to determine if your name is available. - File a Foreign Registration Statement
To register a foregin corporation, you file a Foreign Registration Statement with the Secretary of State. There is a $101 filing fee. You can mail or hand-deliver the filing.On the Foreign Registration Statement you are required to appoint an Idaho registered agent to accept service of process.You must include with your filing a Certificate of Existence from your home state. - Wait for Processing
